Trust, respect and responsibility are the foundation of quality care in the relationship between a patient and their doctor.

When parents consent to enter into this relationship, they will be consenting to our formal policy requiring polite and respectful engagement with staff of Prosper Paediatrics and doctors and other providers in practice associated with us.

Prosper Paediatrics strives to be open and upfront about the link between our policies and the high quality yet affordable services we seek to provide to support our associated providers’ practices and clinical care. We strive to engage respectfully with patients and their parents when providing our administrative, reception and billing services. We always strive to work with a strong sense of responsibility for patient and family outcomes and experience of care. We welcome providers who we believe align with our culture and commitment to patient care to establish their practices with us and to provide clinical care with the support of our services.

We understand that families may feel stressed, frustrated, confused or upset sometimes.

We ask that families choose and strive to:

  • act with respect and with forbearance when they do not understand our policies or procedures;

  • trust that we are doing the best we can.;

  • trust that we are experienced in the provision of paediatric health care;

  • trust that we know and comply with the various laws applicable to our practice;

  • trust that we err on the side of generosity;

  • trust that we prioritise the wellbeing of the children who are patients;

  • trust that we put a high priority on good outcomes and experience of our care;

  • master their emotions if they become upset;

  • be responsible for working with us to achieve the best outcomes for their child.

Entering into a relationship with your provider means consenting to take responsibility for avoidance of behaviours that will intimidate, harass, upset, frighten, coerce, distress or harm the providers or the staff or harm the business or reputation of Prosper Paediatrics or any of its associated providers or their sole practices. We ask that parents do not make unreasonable demands on staff as they work to administer the practice and care for other families. We ask that families accept and understand that providers are managing their time carefully and responsibly in accordance with the standards of their profession and that they rightfully require remuneration for their services. Parents will consent to and undertake to ensure prompt, proper and full payment when invoiced for requested services. Parents will agree to avoid requests for the provision of clinical consulting services outside of structured and agreed appointments within the normal working hours of their provider. Parents will also consent to the prompt, honest and appropriate provision of information required for the conduct of their joint responsibility for their child's care.

We always welcome feedback from families about their experiences of our policies, procedures or particular encounters. Parents or guardians should ensure that any concerns are raised directly with Prosper Paediatrics management rather than publish complaints in social media such as Google or other reviews. Prosper is happy to address , resolve, remedy and learn from complaints where reasonably possible. Where concerns relate specifically to a provider, Prosper’s management will meet with the provider to discuss the concerns. Prosper Paediatrics may then assist them in addressing the matter or address the concerns on their behalf. Prosper Paediatrics does not employ or direct providers practising in association with us.

We aim for continuous improvement in clinical care and the general administrative care of families wherever possible.
