Dr Yu-Ling Chen sees newborns from 34 weeks gestation to older children and adolescents in all areas of general medical and developmental paediatrics. Dr Chen is an accredited diagnostician for Autism Spectrum Disorder with Autism SA.
She combines her private consulting practice with her work as a consultant paediatrician with the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Outside her clinical work, she is also involved in various teaching programs for students and paediatric trainees at Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
She consults in English but is also fluent in conversational Mandarin Chinese.

I have engaged Service Provider, Prosper Paediatrics to provide and manage the administrative services and consulting facilities I need to help me provide the best clinical care I can.

Dr Chen graduated from The University of Queensland in 2010 and, following her internship, moved to Adelaide to commence training in Paediatric Medicine in 2013. She has worked primarily at The Women’s and Children’s Hospital but also gained further experience through Lyell McEwin Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Port Augusta Hospital.
Dr Chen completed her paediatric training and was admitted to The Royal Australasian College of Physicians in January 2018.
Dr Chen currently consults mainly at Paediatrics at North Adelaide.
