Dr Kerrie-Anne Chen | Paediatric Neurologist
Dr Chen is a Paediatric Neurologist. She was admitted to the RACP in 2016 and is a member of the College’s Australian and New Zealand Child Neurology Society, and the Epilepsy Society of Australia.
She sees babies, children and adolescents up to 18 years of age for neurological concerns, including headaches, tics, seizure, epilepsy or where developmental delay may indicate a possible neurological component or cause.
Dr Chen graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2009. Her paediatric neurology training was completed at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospital. Her training in Sydney included an extra Epilepsy Fellowship year. Dr Chen is also undertaking a Masters of Medicine by Research with University of NSW. This research is focusing on the outcomes of two novel therapeutic agents in rare neurological diseases.
Dr Chen enjoys working with children and developing a relationship with them and their families. Her specialisation in neurology has resulted from her interest in the challenges of paediatric neurological medicine, and especially its current landscape of progress and research.
Home life in Adelaide is shared with her husband and their son, who being little, keeps them on their toes.
