Rachel George | Dietitian

Rachel is a paediatric dietitian with over 15 years’ of experience with a special interest and expertise in food allergies and intolerances in children. She aims to provide evidenced-based advice together with reassurance and guidance in these more challenging situations. Rachel’s experience as a mum is important to her understanding of the practical side of her work with families to create healthy happy children.

Rachel enjoys the range of nutrition, weight and growth concerns of general paediatric practice, including fussy and problem eating and dietetic support for various medical or developmental conditions.

Rachel has previously lectured with Flinders University, South Australia, and her experience includes working in the UK.  She has a passion for sensitive, supportive motivation for young people and their families, together with a commitment to solidly evidence-based care and advice.  Her practical experience as a mother has enabled her to quickly grasp the family life opportunities and challenges of translating the science of nutrition into enjoyable family meal experiences.
