Administration Team
The Prosper paediatrics Team supports each of our associated independent sole practitioners with administrative and management services.
Prosper Paediatrics (the trading name for Paediatrics at Burnside Pty Ltd) is a small family profit-for-purpose business providing highly specialised management and administrative services and facilities to sole practitioners in paediatric healthcare. When practitioners conduct their private practice in association with Prosper Paediatrics, they can focus on clinical work while relying on Prosper Paediatrics to efficiently provide the reception, administration and well-equipped consulting room services they want and need for their practice and their care of children.
Angela is the Managing Director of Prosper Paediatrics. Dr Brian Conway is a co-director of Paediatrics at Burnside Pty Ltd.
Prosper Paediatrics employs a carefully selected and tight team. Our staff understand our purpose. Their big hearts are the most important contribution to our team, and with their people skills and wisdom, they strive to work effectively as the Prosper team with each of the providers and our patient families. Our management team is supported by Anna, who leads the reception team which includes Khushi and medical students, Danielle, Sunwoo and Matthew. Some staff occasionally work remotely, but whether at home or in the rooms, the whole team work closely together on a single virtual reception desk and administration team with our management staff.
Prosper Paediatrics manages bookings, billings and other reception care. We ensure your communication with your provider, and other correspondence are sent or filed securely and efficiently. We aim to resolve your requests and concerns effectively where possible and if needed, we communicate promptly anything we cannot resolve to your provider. You won’t find random messages on post-it notes floating around our work-stations. We prioritise the use of secure and consistent communication and filing procedures using the best digital and IT tools. Your requests are entered into your file and reliably flagged to your provider. The various associated doctors and allied health providers are a diverse group, with a range of other professional and family responsibilities and practice styles. Most practice privately on a part-time basis. Some check and respond to tasks daily whilst others check in once or twice a week. Each provider conducts their practice independently and not under the direction of Prosper Paediatrics.
Angela Conway | Managing Director
Angela established Paediatrics at Burnside, now Prosper Paediatrics, with Dr Conway in 2012. . She is passionate about providing the highly specialised management and administrative services needed to ensure each provider can care for their patients in a welcoming, supportive, friendly space and achieve the best outcomes possible for each child. in their care. Angela has qualifications in Law and Arts, majoring in Economics, as well as Education and Design. Her goal is to make Prosper Paediatrics the benchmark for paediatric service provision to paediatric healthcare practitioners in South Australia.
Angela is a co-director with Dr Conway, of the company, Paediatrics at Burnside Pty Ltd, trading as Prosper Paediatrics. .
Genevieve | Assistant Practice Manager
Genevieve’s primary role is in managing Patient Accounts and Prosper Paediatrics’ relationships with the providers whose practices we support. She manages their clinics to align with their practice styles and preferences and patient mix. She aims to ensure that appropriate appointments are always reserved and ready for reviews or more urgent cases. She oversees their waiting lists. She assists in the day-to-day running of the administrative team and assists the neonatal paediatricians to coordinate their 24/7 neonatal care cover for Burnside and Calvary North Adelaide hospitals.
Genevieve studied Arts at university.
Amanda | Assistant Practice Manager
Amanda’s primary focus is managing, leading and supporting Prosper Paediatric’s team in all aspects of each provider’s relationships with patients. She leads our team in reception and the various administrative duties that support each provider’s care of their patients and families. Amanda’s career focus is practice management and health administration. She is highly experienced, with previous studies in nursing, current part-time studies in practice management, and her life experience as a mum to two young men. She brings sure judgement, practicality, wisdom and gentleness to the day-to-day problems and challenges. Amanda is integral to the our team’s cohesion.
Karissa | Assistant Practice Manager
Karissa manages our clinic facilities and supplies. She aims to ensure our provider’s practices are always well supported and equipped, with individualised attention to any particular practice needs. We hope that with attention, care and the tailoring of service provision to each provider, families experience excellent outcomes in all aspects of their experience with their care. Karissa also works to keep the workplace of Prosper comfortable and conducive to productive effort and a happy atmosphere. She also helps out on our reception and administration team. Karissa brings retail management experience to the team and studies Law alongside her work at Prosper Paediatrics.
